These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Parquet Viewer, operated by Ship It! Software Limited ("Company", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the practices in our Privacy Policy.
Server tools and MCP
SQL analysis and MCP are separate from the anonymous local viewer. They use shared server infrastructure and require you to be authorized for the uploaded or governed data. The Parquet Viewer MCP is read only, but query results can still contain information from authorized tables. Review results before relying on them, keep credentials and tokens confidential, and revoke access you no longer need.
Server conversion
Starting Convert large files uploads the selected files for server processing. Files wait in this tab's queue until a processing slot is available. Conversion limits and availability are shown before upload. Unsupported files can fail without producing a CSV. Keep this tab open to retain access to the queue and download completed files before the displayed expiry. Temporary outputs are not a backup, and closing the tab does not guarantee a submitted job stops.
Allowed usage
You may use the viewer for lawful Parquet files you are authorized to access. Do not use the site to infringe another person's rights, break the law, bypass usage or security controls, disrupt the service, distribute malicious content, or attempt to discover non-public source code or underlying systems.
Your files and outputs
You retain responsibility for the files you select and the CSV outputs you download and must have the rights needed to use them. Keep your own source files and backups. Check displayed schemas, rows, filters, sorting, and exports before relying on them. The utility does not replace a validation process or production data pipeline.
Intellectual property
You keep rights in your files and generated outputs. The site, interface, documentation, branding, and underlying software remain the property of the Company or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
Availability and disclaimers
The utility is provided as available without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free parsing, or that an output will meet a particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for loss of use, data, goodwill, profits, or for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. We are not responsible for source files or exports stored on your device. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending access
You may stop using Parquet Viewer at any time. We may restrict or end access if you breach these Terms, create a security risk, misuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law.
Privacy policy
Our Privacy Policy explains browser-local selected-file processing, public sample requests, and the ordinary request data handled when the site loads.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above shows the latest revision. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without limiting any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
