Local file viewing remains in your browser without signup. MCP works only with governed tables in the Loam workspace you authorize.

Read-only analytical tools

Claude can list tables, inspect schemas and Parquet-derived column types, profile selected columns, read the supported SQL reference, validate read queries, and execute bounded read-only SQL. It cannot edit rows, mutate tables, upload files, or create ingestion pipelines.

Identity and permissions

Parquet Viewer is operated by Ship It! Software Limited and powered by Loam. Login with Loam supplies the shared account, while this product has its own MCP resource, OAuth audience, consent identity, and closed allowlist. Loam evaluates current workspace and object permissions for every call.
